We will depart to the Uco Valley region, to the Tupungato and Tunuyán departments, going through the well-known productive corridor that allows us to see the different fruit plantations and vineyards that give rise to the famous high-altitude wines, visiting 2 High-End wineries located to the foot of the majestic Cordillera de los Andes, knowing the different processes and styles of making internationally awarded wines (additional cost of guided tours and tastings).
Ascending to the base of the mountain range and on the banks of the Arroyo Grande, we will visit the Glorious Renunciation monument (popularly known as Manzano Histórico), a work by Luis Perlotti inaugurated in 1950 to commemorate the return to the homeland of General San Martín at the end of the liberating campaign in 1823, a unique work that shows the hero on a mule and dressed as a gaucho.
At the end of our tour, we will ascend to the viewpoint and Cristo Rey monument, where we will appreciate the imposing Cordón del Portillo and Tupungato Volcano.
Return to the city of Mendoza in the afternoon.
