We head north along San Martín street, on the way we will find an important monument in Cañota (monument that symbolizes the separation of the wings of the liberating army when it left for the campaign in Chile).
Later, entering the Precordillera, we can admire the Vaquerías Post. Once inside the Reserve we find the Imposing Termas de Villavicencio Hotel in a Nordic-Scandinavian style, we begin to walk the path of 365 curves, a path where we can see the native fauna and experience the adrenaline in each curve.
Once in Uspallata we begin to travel the high mountain road. We enter the historic bridge of Picheuta and then continue until we reach Penitentes, one of the northernmost ski resorts in our country.
We continue towards the Aconcagua Park, where we will be able to see the magnificent Cerro Aconcagua with its 6962 m.a.s.l.
From there we continue towards the border town of Las Cuevas, where you can see the last old train station on the Argentine side. We have lunch (optional) and then, if the weather conditions and the state of the road allow it, we will ascend to Christ the Redeemer, located on the summit of Cerro Santa Elena at 4200 m.a.s.l. monument that symbolizes the Argentine-Chilean brotherhood (summer).
